Hello everyone! 


My name is Paloma and I'm your host for Diaries of First Gen. Although this podcast started out as a project for my college course, I've always been passionate about voicing the first-gen experience. As a first generation college student myself, I know the ups and downs of being first gen and I thought it'd be pretty cool to be able to talk about it with other first gens. 

A Few Fun Facts: 

  • I'm Latina (Mexican)
  • I'm an English major and I want to become an English teacher 
  • My favorite color is yellow 
  • I have a 10 year old yorkie
