Hello everybody, this is Paloma and I will be your host for the podcast of Diaries of First Gen the Untold Narratives. So a little bit about me, I am a first gen myself. I am currently in my undergrad at a private university.

Right now I'm a junior and hopefully I'll graduate in 2025. I'm a Latina and I'm making this podcast just to talk about the stories, experiences that I've experienced, but also that like other classmates or friends have experienced to ask first gens and people of color and just we want to create a safe space and somewhere where we can share experiences and that you feel identified and that you feel that your experiences are seen and that you can relate and just motivate you to continue your educational journey.

This podcast is not a how-to and it's not, we're not going to be imposing our advice or anything on you. It's just to share experiences just so you guys can come in and listen into our conversations.
